Delhi Hit By The Low Magnitude Earth Quake Of 2.2 On Richter Scale

A low-Intensity Earthquake Along with the magnitude of 2.2 hit Delhi On Friday, and it is fourth time in a month that Delhi is facing this earthquake, according to the National Center for Seismology said.

This low-intensity earthquake hit the Pitampura in Delhi, however, it was a low intensity it didn’t hit anything else, and the NCS quoted this news and said that this earthquake occurred at sharp 11:28 am at a depth of eight kilometers.

This is not the first time in Delhi since last month even on the May 10 Delhi hit with the magnitude of 3.4 and the epicenter of this was the wazirpur Northeast Delhi.

The same also happened in the nearby location on 12 and 13 May with a magnitude of 3.5 and 2.5 respectively.

The earthquake found 2.2 on the Richter Scale hit 13 km Northwest of New Delhi.

In record of the delhi earthquake the 2.8 magnitude earthquake hit delhi in the 2004 and another 3.4 was recorded in the 2001.

The most tragic Delhi earthquake was in Bulandshar with the magnitude of the 6.7 on October 10, 1956 and Moradabad in August 15, 1966.
